Vitesse huurt Tomas Kalas van Chelsea

De 18-jarige Tsjechische centrale verdediger die indruk maakte tijden het UEFA toernooi u19 in Roemenië, wordt mogelijk uitgeleend aan Vitesse.

De centrale verdediger heeft afgelopen zomer een vijf-jarig contract ondertekend bij Chelsea. Hij komt van het Tsjechische Sigma Olomouc (Red.: werd in 2010 door Chelsea gekocht en uitgeleend bij zijn eigen club). 

De speler sprak met de McEachran Chelsea-site. "Ja, per 22 augustus wordt ik verhuurd", volgens Kalas. De speler werd ook naar de duur van de periode gevraagd. "We zullen zien, als ik elke wedstrijd kan spelen, wil ik wellicht voor langere tijd blijven", zei Kalas.
