Nouha Dicko close to a reunion with former Hull City boss

Nouha Dicko is in line for a reunion with his former boss Leonid Slutsky as Dutch club Vitesse look to sign the Hull City striker on a season-long loan.
Slutsky was in charge of the Tigers when Dicko was signed from Wolves in a £3.5m deal two years ago and now wants to bring the Mali international to the Eredivisie.

Vitesse held talks with City over the weekend and were hopeful of striking a deal ahead of their transfer deadline today.

Dicko led City’s attack in the Carabao Cup tie away to Preston six days ago but his return of seven goals in 54 appearances for the Tigers underlines his time in East Yorkshire has not gone to plan.

The 27-year-old is now in the final year of his contract with the Tigers and finds himself behind Tom Eaves and Josh Magennis in the pecking order under McCann.

Vitesse, who also have former City rookie Max Clark on their books, are currently top of the Dutch top-flight after taking 11 points from their five games this season.
