Adams Park to host Royals friendly

Adams Park will play host to a pre-season friendly between Reading FC and Vitesse Arnhem on Saturday 29th July (k.o. 3pm).

The Royals’ Madejski Stadium is undergoing a full pitch reconstruction over the summer and therefore Jaap Stam’s men will play their only first-team friendly in the UK at Wycombe Wanderers’ home ground, having also done so two years ago against Swansea City.

Eredivisie outfit Vitesse finished fifth in the top tier of Dutch football last season and provide the opposition for a Reading side which missed out on promotion to the Premier League by the narrowest of margins in May, losing on penalties to Huddersfield in the Championship play-off final at Wembley.

Tickets are now on general sale to all supporters, with a discount when bought in advance.

Prices are as follows:

Adults: £7 (or £10 on the day)
Seniors (65+): £5 (or £10 on the day)
Young Adults (18-24): £5 (or £10 on the day)
Juniors (17 and under): £1 (or £5 on the day)

Book now via Wanderers’ ticket office; you can either go online, or call 01494 441118, or visit the shop at Adams Park (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm). Tickets purchased in advance can be posted, left for collection on the day of the game, or emailed to you to print off and bring along, or display on a smartphone and scanned at the turnstile.

Please note that tickets in the Terrace, Beechdean Stand and Panache Stand only are currently on sale.
