Newcastle United are reportedly interested signing Milot Rashica from Vitesse in the January transfer window.

It has been reported that the 21-year-old attacking midfielder is on the radar of Newcastle, with his club looking for a fee in excess of £4 million.

Rashica is an attacking midfielder who can also play on either wing and has a lot of pace.
The 21-year-old has scored three goals and provided two assists in 12 starts in the Eredivisie so far this season, according to WhoScored.

During the 2015-16 campaign, the youngster scored two goals and provided 10 assists in 31 league starts for Vitesse, according to WhoScored.

There is no doubt that Rashica is a talented and promising young attacker, but it would be a risk on the part of Newcastle if they think that signing him would save them from relegation to the Championship at the end of the season.

It could take the youngster some time to settle in, and moreover given that he is only 21 years of age, the Magpies cannot really expect him to their saviour.
Newcastle’s recent results and performances suggest that the Magpies are in real danger of getting relegated from the Premier League at the end of the season.
