Vitesse in EL loting groep 3

Vitesse wordt vanmiddag tijdens de loting van de derde ronde van de Europa League gekoppeld aan een van de geplaatste clubs uit groep 3.

Het betreffen stuk voor stuk pittige tegenstanders. De loting wordt om 13.00 uur uitgevoerd en is te volgen op live steam (zie elders op Vitesse.org)

The teams are further split into five groups containing an equal number of seeded and unseeded contenders. Every seeded club will meet an unseeded opponent from within the same group.

Draw procedure
• Each side in each seeding group is allocated a number. For the groups with the same numbers of teams (2, 3, 4 and 5), balls containing the seeded numbers are placed in one bowl, with balls for the unseeded numbers in the same group positioned in another.

• A ball is taken from each bowl and put into a large empty bowl in the middle, where they are shuffled.

• The clubs whose numbers correspond to the first ball drawn play their first game at home, against the teams whose numbers match the next ball drawn.

• Group 1 has a different number of clubs to the others and will be drawn separately by the same procedure.

Ties
• All ties are played on 30 July and 6 August, with the play-off round draw at 13.00CET on 7 August
